Carnforth Town Council is delighted to announce that due to demand it has added a second public screening of the original 1924 film of the unveiling ceremony and parade of the War Memorial, courtesy of the North West Film Archive in Manchester, together with contemporary newsreel footage of life in Carnforth and the surrounding area.
This will be at the earlier time of 3.15pm at Carnforth Civic Hall on Friday 8th November.
The Lancashire Record Office in Preston is also providing facsimiles of local archival material to accompany the film show.
