Call for Nominations: Carnforth Community Awards 2025

🌟 Celebrate Our Community Heroes! 🌟

Carnforth Town Council is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the Carnforth Community Awards 2025! These awards are an opportunity to recognise and honour the outstanding individuals and groups that make our community a better place to live, work, and thrive.

Award Categories:

  1. Outstanding Community Champion
    • This award recognises an individual who has shown exceptional dedication and leadership in advancing community initiatives, fostering collaboration, and inspiring others to contribute to the betterment of our community.
  2. Outstanding Volunteer
    • This award honours an individual who has made significant contributions through volunteer efforts, demonstrating selflessness, commitment, and a profound impact on local projects and initiatives.
  3. Outstanding Young Person
    • This award celebrates a young individual who has exhibited remarkable leadership, creativity, and commitment to making a positive difference in the community, inspiring peers and adults alike.
  4. Outstanding Voluntary/Community Group
    • This award acknowledges a group or organisation that has excelled in supporting community needs through volunteer work, advocacy, and innovative programs, significantly enhancing the quality of life for residents.

How to Nominate:

To submit a nomination, please fill out the nomination form available on our website here. Ensure that you provide detailed information about the nominee, including their contributions and impact on the community.

Nomination Deadline:

All nominations must be submitted by Wednesday 21st May 2025 to assistanttownclerk@carnforthtowncouncil.gov.uk

Winners will be announced by Friday 23rd May and invited to attend our annual awards ceremony at Carnforth Free Methodist Centre on Kellet Road on Thursday 29th May 2025 from 7pm.

Let’s come together to celebrate the incredible contributions of individuals and groups within our community. Your nominations will help us shine a light on those who truly make a difference!
