I joined the Town Council in January 2025 and am looking forward to working with my fellow councillors and other groups and organisations in Carnforth to support our lovely town. I’ve lived here for over 10 years, relocating from the southeast to work at Lancaster University. For the last 5 years I was working in Nottingham during the week but have now retired and am delighted to be back home full-time – joining the Town Council seemed a good opportunity to get more involved in local activities again.
My professional background is in education and health and my personal interests are mainly outdoors (walking, wildlife, gardening) and animals (dogs, horses), so I’m keen to be involved in related activities and projects with the Council and local community groups.
I’m married to Steve, who – since 2023 – is also a councillor!
