I moved to Carnforth in 2014 and immediately felt at home. This is my first term as a councillor but I have previously undertaken other local projects and am the author of both Men on The Monument leaflets about the men of Carnforth who fell in both world wars.
I have two main areas of interest: Firstly is the celebration and preservation of Carnforth’s history and heritage. Secondly I am keen to maintain and develop Carnforth as an urban wildlife hotspot and have recently set up the Carnforth Swift Group on Facebook to help with the preservation of these iconic summer birds.
