We have been overwhelmed by the number and quality of handmade poppies, wreaths and banners that have been made by residents, schools and local groups for our special Memorial and Remembrance weekend. All will be put on display in local shops, Carnforth Civic Hall or the War Memorial. (Photos and acknowledgements to follow)
We have hundreds of hand held flags to give out for you to wave during our Parade and Service to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the unveiling of the War Memorial on Saturday.
