Carnforth Town Council acted quickly around 11pm last night to alert colleagues at Lancaster City Council of a tree close to the Canal Park Play Area that had been badly damaged during the lastest storm and was a clear danger to anyone using the footpath.With the City Council’s permission we temporarily closed the footpath to ensure everyones safety. The tree has now been removed and the footpath re-opened.
Another example of positive and effective collaboration between out two council’s to solve a problem.
